Roll over on Farmington Hill 2/11/22

According to the Colorado State Patrol, a driver heading north toward Durango near the top of Farmington Hill swerved into the southbound lane, overcorrecting and driving up the side of the embankment causing a single full roll of the vehicle. 

The crash, originally reported at 9:02 p.m. near milepost 16 on Highway 550 sent two to Mercy Hospital. Shortly after the passenger in the vehicle was flown to St. Mary's Medical Center in Grand Junction. 

CSP reported that neither of them were wearing their seat belts. Speed is not suspected of being a factor in the crash.

The driver is suspected of driving drunk and under the influence of marijuana.
