A passenger was killed in a car wreck in Grand Junction on Saturday night.
The Grand Junction police department responded to a single vehicle accident at 11:40 pm on E Road and Duffy Drive.
An adult male driver and adult male passenger were driving East on E Road when a rollover accident occurred.
The driver was transported to the hospital with non-fatal injuries. The passenger was thrown from the vehicle, sustaining multiple blunt force injuries and was declared dead on the scene.
The Mesa County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death an accident.
