The accident happened before 7:00p.m. in Orchard Mesa of Unaweep Avenue and 28 Road.
Colorado State Patrol says a car was being worked on in a garage at 2799 Unaweep Avenue. Man pulled the car out of the garage and backed over a one year old girl.
Troopers believe the driver of the car is the victim’s grandfather. He was arrested on suspision of DUI.
The baby was rushed to the hospital, her condition is unknown.
