Effective Jan 1, 2009, all new personal auto insurance policies written or renewed after that date will have $5,000 Medical Payments coverage UNLESS YOUR REJECT THE COVERAGE. Medical Payments coverage on your personal auto insurance policy is GREAT coverage. We suggest that you buy as much of this coverage as the insurance company will sell you. Please talk to your agent before rejecting this coverage.
